I was looking forward to this episode of metal evolution for the whole series and now I feel kind of pissed off. Not at any of the coverage on the bands or anything, but on the fact that they spent such a chunk of time on Creed and Nickelback as “post-grunge”/copycats. I mean, you’re looking for the metal influence in grunge, don’t go farther away. Don’t go into the pits of hell. I don’t really support the slaughtering of Nickelback that everyone seems to endorse, but I feel that including them was extremely unnecessary.

And not once were the words Mother Love Bone mentioned. What the hell? Andy had such a glam persona, that right there is the perfect introduction to the scene, seeing as how the series had just done an episode on glam metal. Whatever man. What. Ever.
